Well, I believe he has underestimated the opponent since most GMs do not give
credit to computers in general...

Yes, but the supercomputer is not unbeatable if faced correctly. The point is
that to face it correctly one needs to be strong, but also study the weakness of
the opponent too.

Of course he thought he could manage it...
