You may be right!  I may be wrong !  But I'm still entitled to my opinion !
Of course if your favorite opening as black is the Sicilian you must adjust to
1. d4  !  Preparation for any opponent is important for optimum performance.  In
this case Hydra was hard to prepare for.  I think it would be a mistake to
assume Hydras weaknesses are identical to say Fritz/Shredder/Junior.  The bottom
line is you must do what you are confident/comfortable with.  That's usually
what has worked in the past.  It's hard to change identities overnight.
