The fact that he is in the top 10 does not mean that he prepared for the match.

I think better preperation could be to study the french opening.

Hydra lost in that opening in a correspondence game against Arno Nickel
so there is better hope in that opening and he certainly could not score worse
than 0/3 with black in the french opening.

I think that Adams did not try to choose openings that hydra has problems with
them.

We will see in the future.

I am not sure if hydra is stronger.
The competition is not only of hardware but also of software and better hardware
is not enough.

one match against human proves nothing and I think that hydra did at least one
blunder(Kg7 instead of Bxd4) that other programs do not play(fortunately for
hydra adams did not reply with Bxf6+ but with Kf1 so hydra won a pawn inspite of
that blunder)
