The King seems to like 40.Qg3 g5 then trading off almost everything with 41.Qxe5 Rxc5 42.Rxc5 Qxc5 43.Qxc5 Bxc5 44.Rxb7 Nxg4+ 45.Bxg4 Rf2+ 46.Kg3 Rxd2, ending in this: [D]7k/1R6/8/2b3p1/p2pP1B1/P5KP/3r4/8 w - - 0 47 But even holding this against the silicon beast would be tricky. The King evaluates this position as -0.31 for Black after a little more than two minutes on an AMD 2500. But Black might have the option of 41...Re7! 42.Qxg5 Qc7+ 43.Kh1, and although Black is down two pawns, things are very complicated. Very hard to hold OTB. jm
