Of course, this method is (very occasionally) used by legitimate sellers. But most often it is somebody who is just looking for e-mail addresses of people who are interested in the item. The seller will typically then start an e-mail thread about how he has several of these and wants to sell them for very cheap (or just wants to sell his one item quickly -- and for very cheap). The catch?
