>The only reasonable handicapping possibility I see is to give the computer less >time than the human. the no book option does this indirectly instead of expending very little time for the first 10 moves the computer will be thinking from the first move perhaps using 3 minutes per move or more of course the operators can force the computer to move in less time but then i think there are good chances the postion emerging out of the opening could be very favorable for the GM Steve
