Subject: Collector's Corner..Example Of A Bidding War

The Modules are the Mephisto Vancouver 68020
there is no included board in the auction
certainly not rare modules by any means

however we see here already a price of over $420 with more then three days to
go..

a review of the bidders list however shows a "whose who" of well known and fine
collectors

and we see that two collectors are trying to outbid each other days before the
end of the auction

i have mentioned on these pages many times that in my poor opinion ,it makes no
sense to bid anytime on an auction other then in the closing moments

when emotion is involved however this is what results

better to know the price you are comfortable with and bid at the end
if you win..then you are happy ..if you lose..then it will only be a matter of
time before another appears wether on Ebay or Privately
but to win a computer for a price way above what you are comfortable with is
worse then losing the item altougher..at least for me it is
