Subject: Chess, a violent game?

Author: Paulo Soares

When new, I very liked to play soccer. I also played volleyball,
"tenis of table"(I don't know the name in english), snooker(matches) and
a little of basketball and tennis. Of all those games, what it always
consumed me more was chess. I also find that chess is more consumed than
karate, only martial art that I practised. The anxiety before the games,
the tension in the games, the scare with movements not waited, at last,
chess is the more violent game that I know.
Perhaps therefore I have even played postal chess, assisted for
computer, for many years.
We do not have also forget what happened with many players
of chess, Fischer, Mecking, Alekine, among others.
Somebody already made a more refined analysis about those
subjects?

Paulo Soares, from Brazil.
