Dual-Cores should treated just like Multiple processors from a programs
perspective. Those that can take advantage to multi-processors, can also take
advantage of dual cores.

For most chess programs the AMD processors give you much better performance.

I'm not sure which memory is better. I think that lower latency would be more
important that higher bandwidth for chess. So I'd be inclined to say the 2nd
type. But this i'm not sure about. Maybe someone can correct me if i'm wrong.
