yes the ones cut short and never actually made, do spark the imagination

i think what you are referring to was the plans Fidelity had to release a
computer in the Designer housing called the Master 2400
it was even assigned a model number(6130)and was never released
was supposed to use a Risc processor running at 12 Mhz with 128k Ram

some other intriguing computers that never made it to market were:
Destiny   Laser Chess(a touch screen portable )
Applied Concepts Boris Grandmaster
Destiny Mega 4 GGM(4 Mhz board)
