Guido Antonelli has calculated the number of positions (which will slightly depend on the actual indexing scheme, but the estimate will give a rather close number), for example: http://chessprogramming.org/cccsearch/ccc.php?art_id=221160 IIRC Guido has posted another more elaborate article about this (with even more men?), but I didn't find that fast.
