Ok, I can and will respect this of course. You might consider, to give a practical alternative to those directories with really lots of files, like a-openings. For example zipping them together first, and then using bzip2. For now, I could download all of them just at the last days of your ftp. I guess, I just should install Scid again. Regards, Dieter
