Hello all!
Here are the first results of a series of experiments that I am busy conducting
with Fruit 2.1
It is a series of 40 games engine matches between Fruit 2.1, DeepShreeder 9 UCI,
Chessmaster 10 and Ktulu 7a with various combinations of opening books and
engine parameters.
So far Fruit played either with :
- no opening book
- a medium size general book built from high quality correspondence games
("MLCB4003")
- fixed opening lines from my personal correspondence opening repertoire
("Nag09" book)
Fruit played either with default UCI parameters or with modified parameters.
So far I have tested a "ML02" personality.
Other engines played with the MLCB4003 book.
Ktulu and Shredder : default parameters
Chessmaster 10 : Berean 5.53
Other engines will be added
PentIV 2.2 Ghz 1024 MB ram or Centrino2 2Ghz 2048 MB ram
Winboard 4.2.7 + Polyglot 1.3 (+WB2UCI for CM10)
128 MB - no TB - ponder off
3 minutes base + 1'' per move
