Would it be expensive if it were on E-Bay? But about human GMs versus computers; I think the chances of a GM winning a match against a PC program were already practically over back in 2001 when John van der Wiel lost his match against Rebel, in Maastricht 3½ - 2½. I can't remember any human GM wins over whole match since then, only maybe a few ties? Ehlvest would still have superior chances against the fastest PDAs or Pocket PCs I think. I would recommend a match against a calculator now, when that still is possible, most programmable calculators are still sold with 4 MHz processors but that will soon change. A state of the art electronic calculator for a match against Ehlvest early next year or even later this year could boast of a Linux operating system and a 400 Mhz Intel X-Scale processor when the Qonos is ready, now I think it is still not ready for production, http://www.hpcalc.org/qonos.php In 2007 Ehlvest would have to play Chessmaster on a GSM to still have some chances, then in 2008 a credit card chip.. If I would start collecting, I think I would start collecting electronic calculators maybe, I presume they take up less space... Regards, Eelco
