OK, I analysed this position for some time and now I am agree with you. Maybe 42... e3!? is better - with idea to exchange rooks for a pawn (Rf7-a7-a1). For instance, 42... e3 43. Nh2 Qf6 44. Qd3 Ra7 45. Qxe3 Ra1 46. Rxa1 Qxa1+ 47. Qg1 Qxg1+ 48. Kxg1 Kf6 49. Nf3 g5 50. Kf2 e5 51. Ke3 e4 52. Nd4 Ke5 53. Nc6+ Kd5 54. Nd8 Ke5 55. Nf7+ Kf6 56. Nd6 Ke5 57. Nc4+ Kd5 ... Igor
