Hello 113 games have been played by the CEGT where Fruit 2.1 scored 45.1% against Shredder 9. See here : http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/CEGT0507.html However I have seen some scores here where someone used Fruit 2.1 DF where Fruit scored above 50% against Shredder. Although how the DF settings will do against other engines is unclear. Using standard settings Fruit 2.1 rates at 2713 from 2,003 games at 40/40, which is 37 elo behind shredder 9 on 2750. Therefore I agree that Fruit is a strong engine. Regards Mike
