1. Some programs (mostly Chessbase, but also CP) crash on initializing certain 6-man tablebases while working fine with others. Is there a known reason for this selective acceptance? Example: BPP vs. N is OK, while NPP vs. B crashes Hiarcs 9 (updated to the latest GUI). Removing these files from the directory heals Hiarcs 9. BTW, Shredder 9 has no problems and works with all of the ones I tried (over 600). 2. I noticed that .tbs files are present in Bob's directories. Seems they only contain statistics for a given TBS - I presume they are not needed? Thank you, PK
