Subject: Collector's Corner..Auction For Fidelity SC12B Heats Up..

in the closing hours

a bidding war has erupted pushing the SC12B to over $135
close to  what i predicted it would sell for in an earlier posting

as the seller is from the US  i think the price can go even higher
some  US collectors it seems will not bid on a computer unless it is being
shipped from the US

a consevative collecting philosophy to be sure but one which will greatly limit
the variety of  their collection's



i am relieved to see that our Mike Byrne is amongst the bidders who placed a bid
earlier today

at least we now know he is not dead
