Subject: Collector's Corner..Suspicious Auction On Ebay..

The computer is the magnificent Mephisto Bavaria board with the Vancouver 32 bit
modules

as is well known ,the Bavaria board is one of two dedicated computers to offer
complete piece and color recognition

why suspicious?
well the price for one thing..the opening price was set at nearly $2400(2000
Euro) on a 10 day auction and there already 1 bidder

this is already much too high for a Bavaria board with the not so rare VAN 32
modules

IMO a mint in original box Bavaria should sell for no more then 1000-1250
Euro.. tops
add another 200-250 for the module
so we are already 400-500 Euro over the top price
also ,why even bid so early on a highly priced auction like this?
there is no advantage to do so
i mean its not like someone is going to get the seller to go "around" ebay for a
higher price.its already over priced

both seller and bidder have very few completed transactions and the bidder is an
Ebay member for only 6 weeks

i of course could be wrong in my suspicions but my gut dosent like this at all

Skeptical Regards
