I would have to assume that enough EAG V5's were sold to make Fidelity think
they could turn a profit on the V8's (!?).

If I remember correctly, I read a long time ago in either Chess Life or CCR that
John Fedorowicz had bought one of the EAG V10's to train against.

That's all the info I can offer; I on the other hand, only own an Elite A/S of
the Fidelity line. I do think this board is fantastic, though, and even better
would be the EAG board, which I would love to find for sell.
