Otherwise Pro Deo might not know which engine to pick. So for instance it starts with midgame. eng in the midgame when the score is around zero but goes to up.eng if the the score is favourable (to a better attacking engine I think is the idea), to down.eng if the score is bad (for a better defender engine for example) A better value for SCORE DOWN would be -0.25 or less. If the scores are close together, there will be more switching of engines, I don't know if that is bad or not. Regards, Eelco
