Crafty belongs to Bob Hyatt, he owns it completely. The copyright laws state that there must be a 10% change in the whole source code to make a new version, if not the program still belongs to the original programmer. Whereas Crafty is over 1 meg in source, then there must be over a 100K in program changes to make it a new program, and that does not mean 100K of of help files, etc. The laws are quite clear on this situation, therefore andy changes of less than 10% are not revelant to new ownership. If some one is going to use your code and they have not complied with the 10% rule, they are required to get your permission to use the program and/or supply you with the new code. In any event, the name of the program cannot be changed without prior permission! Bob has the legal right to do away with all Crafty clones! I have been in the software business for over 20 years, and am quite aware of the laws on software. Bill Rogers
