Hi Victor The Chess Challenger is another Saitek clone from their older M/Cs. I think that this machine has the GK2100/President program. This program has been tested extensively at Game in 60 and above against other chess computers and some humans. The rating of 1960 is about right (it was originally launched as a 2100elo computer, hence the name). See http://www.elhchess.demon.co.uk/challeng.htm This Franz Morsch program is a typical computer program with a good opening book, strong middle game but poor end game. If you are a reasonable player and can stonewall it till the end game you will have a good chance to beat it. Mix it in the middle game and prepare to lose. Clive
