There are 18 positions ANY chess program should be able to start with (when it
has FEN import and/or a setup function) and play including the usual castling
rights, because the kings and rooks are on the standard squares. See below. I do
not remember which the 15 pos were Stefan Pohl has used, from these. The last
one is the classical starting position.

Btw. Shredder 8 was leading that list. S9 wasn't released yet. The 3.23/3.33
Kings were rated a bit better than in lists from classical games, at Fritz 8
level. IIRC, the rest of the rankings was more or less as usual..
