I don't run Windows, and I have never even seen the Fritz 8 GUI. However, I am pretty sure Glaurung *should* work there (otherwise a lot of people would have complained by now). One common problem is a missing kpk.bin file. This file, which is contained in the download from my home page, must always be placed in the same directory as the Glaurung executable. Without kpk.bin, Glaurung will refuse to run (yes, this should be better documented. I'm lazy). If you have a kpk.bin file at the correct location, I have no idea what the problem could be. I think you will have to ask other users of the Fritz GUI for advice. Tord
