Ralf and me are testing every new idea with about 1000 blitz games (3+1 or 5+1
depends on computer speed) against a set of different engines. Thus we do have a
rough idea of the current playing strength of Spike 1.0. But I do not whant to
talk about ELO´s because Spike 1.0 is not finished and we haven´t got good ELO
Tests with EGTB switched on (Spike 1.0 will support Nailimov EGTB´s). At last
there will be a "measurable" ELO advancement, even with EGTB´s switched off.
