Hello Goerge,

A statistical fact, as against my biased opinion for instance, can be tested and
subjected to rigorous proofs.

Would you mind sharing the machines you used, the time controls you employed,
the settings, the gui(s), one machine or two, ponder on or off, native books or
generic and even some of the critical positions of the games?  That would add
content to your comments...

No.  What makes Fruit interesting is that it is strong, well written and usable
in a number of guis.  It does not hurt that the programmer is a genuinely nice
guy....

Let me understand this, you are only interested in purchasing programs which can
stay with Shredder and Fritz in the long run?  It is your money but you are
missing out on quite a bit of fun by limiting your choices that way.
