Well guys, I've quietly been running CM10th testing the last few months. Time now to reveal details to date: Chessbase Shredder 9 GUI 40 moves in 40 min repeating, 256MB Hash Dual Athlon MP2000+ with ponder on (3 boxes) 3-4-5 men EGTB no learning Each CM10th personality plays 40 games against each of: Shredder 9 Fritz 8 Bilbao Junior 9 Aristarch 4.50 Hiarcs 9 Ruffian 2.1.0 Gandalf 6.0 The above are using their own books. CM10th uses the CM10th book converted to Chessbase format. That is 280 games for each personality. CM10th default was tested to provide a baseline, and CM9000 Slayer was also included as that was the top personality in my CM9000 testing. Results to date: Firstly the "baselines": 119.5 / 280.0 CM10th Default 124.5 / 280.0 CM9000 Slayer Then to date: 137.5 Behemoth 137.0 Milan 2.3 136.0 Berean 5.53 129.5 Emporer 128.0 Yoda 2.7 126.5 D1 Meandros 123.5 Cobra So - all personalities are stronger than the strongest CM9000 personality I tested which was Slayer. The top group are also significantly better than Cm10th default. Currently testing Schumacher, then Scorpion and SoFar. After that I'm not sure, will consult with Graham ! All this activity explains why you haven't seen any tournments from me for a while :-)
