As many Collectors know, sometimes one must throw all caution to the wind if a very rare computer comes along generally when a rare computer is offered to a collector there is a good deal of contact back and forth a bevy of e-mails will fly with and questions and answers ,photos ,and of course the always required haggling over price sometimes however one can not be so prudent and must act quickly or lose the chance to pocket a rare computer this happened to me with the Applied Concepts TSB 4 La Regence when i received the offer i quickly accepted the price and paid even quicker no photos ,no Q&A i should mention i knew the seller well so i was not concerned with a scam or a fraud and it worked out perfectly on the flip side.. it is also important for the seller to act within a reasonable time as well recently (two weeks ago) i received a list of computers for sale from a seller who is not a collector the list contained prices and some descriptions as to condition i responded within minutes of receiving the email and placed a significant order while i did not have any prior transactions with him i did hear of him from other sources after a week of no response i sent a follow-up email i never received a reply this tells me the seller is not acting in good faith and probably sold some of the items i ordered first, to other persons no serious seller would not reply to an email after two weeks bad form of course and a tell tale indication that this particular seller is not an honorable individual so while there are times when immediate action is required..there is never really a time when weeks should go by for a deal to be consummated Time Is Of The Essence Regards Steve
