Using the SSDF List as a reference point which Programs on a 2 Ghz Opteron would be GM Strength? And when it comes to Dual Core CPU's Dual 2Ghz? Does a 2500 rating on the SSDF list (computer vs computer) correspond with a 2500 FIDE equivalent? Which rating does? Adams gets a draw against a machine that is twice as fast as the machine that beat shredder on a quad 2.2Ghz . The 16 cpu Hydra performed 150 elo better than Shredder. Tell me if this is right that is about 3 (3.1?)times faster than a 2Ghz which i've heard equates to 90elo (if you tripple clock speed) plus the 150elo performance plus the doubling of Hydra's speed going from 16 to 32 cpu's adds 30more elo for a total of 270elo more than Shredder on a 2Ghz. Shredder 8 on a 1.2Ghz on the SSDF list gets 2806 which would make Hydra 3076. Adams was rated 2747 he lost 5 and drew 1 which would be a performance of 3080.33 either my estimates are lucky or i am correct.
