Guess i got off on the wrong >foot, or maybe put it in my mouth george Hi George, Here are a couple of pointers for future reference: 1) When you start a new thread, remember to keep all your related questions and answers in that particular thread, by posting/replying with or without quoting. 2) When you post a follow up with quoting, remember to remove any text that is not relevant to your followup, example; If someone posts x number of games, you don't need the pgn text to be present in your followup so just remove it, this way people won't have to scroll down to see your followup and it saves space/bandwith on the server. 3) Format your text, meaning remember to add spaces between your different points, so your posts won't be one long sentence, most people (including myself) don't even bother to read those posts. 4) Capital letters are not considered "cool" for example "CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW THIS WORKS", for the experienced (which most are here) forum user, this is considered shouting and rude and at best a misguided attempt to attract attention :) 5) Before asking a question, try and do an archive search: http://chessprogramming.org/cccsearch Many questions has been answered already. (you can always find the link on the top right corner in the same line of links as "post a new message") These are just a few pointers that will probably make your posting here a smooth experience for all involved. Now for a practical example, try and answer this post by clicking "Post Followup (with quoting)" located just below the "Subject: SSDF and GM's" text. Remember to remove excess text which would be your original post which i am replying to as we don't need that twice in the same thread. Hope this helps. Regards Jonas
