I am happy to hear that....

Nothing wrong with having an opinion. As for being abrasive, you do not seem to
mind when others abrade right back so no problem here either.

Again I see nothing wrong here.....

Hoo boy, you are going to get it for this one!

I must confess that I have a similar view BUT the anticomputer experts do have a
valid point. The software writers should have a look at the weaknesses and iron
them out. Dr. Hyatt did that for a free program, I cannot see why the
professionals will not....Perhaps when a GM adopts some of the strategies to
affect the results of man vs machine matches then it will become important...

This is the point. The strongest human has recently retired. He has the sheer
charisma - whether you like him or not - to make a match a news event. Do any
of the others? I am not talking about strength, I am talkng about mass appeal,
about excitement, about the possibility of all out warfare and bloodshed and
hard fought victory.

The doing of it, well that is a task!

I agree. Steve B has conducted himself with class, humour and wit. I like him
and I have never had any dealings with him. He has a couple of companions in
crime who are funny too...

Until then, later.
