Hello Jorge,
 I have to disagree with you. Fischer was not afraid of Karpov. He was afraid of
losing to anyone. If he had been an active champion and then refused to play
Karpov then we could say maybe he was scared. Fischer wouldn't play against
anyone after he won the title. Of course, I am a Karpov fan so I am not saying
he would lose.
