Do you live in a fantasy world where only computerchess tournaments with real boards exist and anyone thinks only in terms of engine/GUI concepts? Forget it. The program is ALL IT'S PARTS. When a move is made on the board display, the program has moved. That's how it is in the real world at the computers of zillions of users. They are not interested in which file which code is. They would never agree that no move has been made but only a notation output, when the move HAS been made on the screen. Are you not aware of "normal" computer users? What do you think how many of them use real boards when using chess programs? 0.01%? And in that case, they must make the move for the opponent themselves on that board.. Please apply some realism for the world of the normal people, not only comp championship participants and such. Thanks! :) Steve
