The fide rules are relevant only for real board and not for the board display.
If you use the interface to decide about the time of a move then the interface
rules are important here and not the fide rules(when I play in playchess I even
do not need to claim a draw for repetition because the interface does it for me
because the game is not played by the fide rules)

Yes but they may agree that the fide rules do not exist when the game is not
played in a real board.
