There are 2 possible reasons that it is again the fide rules:
1)claiming a draw after making a move
2)claiming a draw with a pawn move.

Steve started his post by talking about point 1(I replied and explained that it
is not against the fide rules because the games is not played in a real board).

He also did not ignore point 2 later in the post(see "But the main thing is..."
in his post)
