>BTW I tried hard to find out who wrote the letter, with no success using Google, >and what is even more strange is the letter seemed familiar to me!? :)) i wouldnt have posted a question with a prize giveaway if the answer was easily culled from the net to be honest i am fairly certain that this is the first time this letter by Fischer has seen the light of day since 1977 while the original letter is of course worth a great deal of money, even the copy published in the newsletter is very valuable very few of issues of the newsletter#1 were released(perhaps less then 250) as a collector of books as well i can say, when an original of an item is no longer in existance(as the Penrod-Fischer letter most probably isnt)then the next best example becomes collectable so an original newsletter(with the copied Fischer letter) becomes valuable as well, but of course no where near as valuable as the original Best Steve
