While >I certainly do not believe the number to be anywhere close to that, I am curious i think you and i discussed this briefly once here many of the people who bought the first CC were not chess players or even serious about chess they sold them in DEPT stores .. it was a novelty..an oddity so no way did 1/2 or 3/4 of these "mildy interested in chess" buyers send the computer back,pay another 75 dollars and wait for it to be returned only the real chess players would do that my guess no more then 100-250 tops Steve
