Yes, it is. All you have to do is pick up the piece and set it down on the destination square. Just like you do with a non-computer chess set. You do not have to push down on the square to enable the computer to recognize the move, like on the sensory boards that are not "auto". When you capture a piece you first pick up the captured piece and then move the other piece to that square. Couldn't be easier. Some autosensory boards are a bit sensitive to sliding the piece from one square to another. I don't know about the Grandmaster in this regard, though. If you pick the piece up and then set it down, without sliding it, there should be no problem at all. Dick Schneiders
