However, I might try emailing the person we think was the sneak buyer and telling him that if he wants to steal something, he ought to offer a decent price. I don't understand why anybody would end an auction early to sell to somebody. Isn't it obvious if somebody offers you a price that seems out of line, that the item must be worth more than you originally thought. Why not then let the competition proceed? Since I have never tried to buy something behind the scenes, I really don't know what they could be told that would compell them to sell. Maybe something like: "this CC1 is really only worth about $50, but I will give you $1,000"!! That might do it, but then what if it was actually worth $5,000? Stupified Regards, Dick Schneiders
