You, and other experts under your post, pull this propoganda to shreds, and I myself didn't see it like this on first viewing, but now I realize how gullible I must be. It's Obvious that this is not an honest way to speak and expect to come out with your product being the best. And yes, the public at large is very likely to preach all this as absolute truth. Yes, I see your point! Then even if it loses games to lowest of the free programs, it has itself covered! But I personally fell for it in my mind. I thought it sounded intersting. After all there will be much more chess knowledge than had been in a program before. Surely it will be tested by others, but you mean that most of the public don't look at these test results? And, IF it only wind all opponents hands down, but only in very long timings, like 10 hours or even much longer, for 40 moves, for me that is also value. But that might another good idea for their propoganda. So what are we saying for sure? Fritz is finished? Perhaps the ad was intended for the large public, but for us, there is much more to say? But It's good to see that people here don't automatically give reverence to a program like Fritz, only because it is famous, just like they didn't give much to CSTal by Wittington (Or am I wrong? I wasn't a member during the beginning of that period). S.Taylor
