Just for fun I made a $1.00 bet w/ my son who is 8 that fritz 7 on his comp a
amd 1800+ would beat fruit 2.1 playing on my freebsd box 2xamd 1.8ghz eboard was
the interface used. Well I just loss my money on that one :( The game was played
with us calling out the moves (a good way to get him to better understand
notation) and it was just incredible seeing fritz go down like this just made me
speechless. I just couldn't believe that fruit used less than 5 mins off of it's
clock!! in a 30min +5sec inc game.

I bet mainly because of the time control and the fact that I had read that fruit
had troubles w/ fritz at blitz speeds.
