So it seems you guys are all impressed very much by ChessBase propaganda. You think F.Morsch has quit computerchess competition? Forget it! He will say, yes yes no no to whatever CB. dudes say, but he will do HIS thing. They cannot decipher his code. What do you think he is going for? Since 1995, he has had bad luck so often, missing the computer chess champion title. Do you think he cares about a program which beats Anand, Morozevich, etc.? NO :) for that, Deep Fritz 6 or 7 would be sufficient. These human patzers are no serious opponents anymore. He goes for rank #1 in computerchess. No doubt! His main goal is to remove Shredder from rank number one in engine-engine competition. I am witnessing computerchess since 20+ years, and believe me, I understand what a world class programmer will be working for: The absolute title! So don't be so quick, let's wait until Fritz 9 is released. You will be surprised. I do not doubt that it will challenge Shredder 9 for rank #1 in the computerchess competition. That is, what Frans Morsch is working for. Forget the poor humans. They are only the second priority in this match. Fritz is going for #1 as he always did. Watch out! I know what I'm talking of. SMK already has sleepless nights thinking of what Fritz 9 may be capable of, I'm sure... Forget anything you have read in the recent past. Frans Morsch will be going for the strongest computerchess program in comp-comp competition, not for anyting else. His goal is the top. He can reach it, and now, just at this very moment, he is doing whatever he can to achieve this!! Go Fritz Go! Steve
