Please Read Carefully! I was repling to Steve Glanzfeld, who called Anand, Morozevich and Co. Patzers! http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?438341 As for Canada, we have Grandmasters, native born ie Kevin Spragget etc. In 1989 Kevin lost to Yusporov by one Sudden Death game which was in the quarter finals for the WCC. As to your question, they won't ask Anand as he most likely will win at long time controls and he's expensive! At least the Hydra team most likely won't arrange a match with Anand. ChessBase, who knows? Maybe they will maybe they won't. Does Anand care, I don't know, as he considered the match(es) of Kramnik and Kasparov as trivial, ie not to be taken seriously. Terry
