Needless to say it did not >last the year before the 5th one stopped working. to the best of my knowledge there were no unusually high defect rates for the Designer Mach III or Excel Mach III..same for the Mach IV series sometimes a certain production run can be bad but the rest of the computers made for that model will be flawless personally i had to go through 2-3 Scisys Mark V'S to finally get one that didnt have a problem with the LCD pieces > >Model 6114 or the EAG 2265 worked great.
