Nice one , Terry! I would have played 1.e6, on the grounds of a variation like
1..Rf6 (what else?) 2.Bxf6 gxf6 3.Qh5 and that looks like a sure win. But I'm
terrible at combo's so probably there are 3.78 holes in this. But in a human
game it might still work!

My PC with Pro Deo has some trouble coming up with the "ulti-mate", shortest
mate variation right now, Pro Deo 1.1 Vulcan {9i9k} needs 3 minute 14 seconds
for a mate in nine, but another version later sees mate in eight moves:
