I think the reason is twofold. They want to avoid some of the eBay fees, but also I think that they are trying to catch unaware bidders that think they are getting a bargain. I have even seen some with a *Buy It Now* option of like 99 cents (US) on a item that should sell for $40 or so, and then the shipping would be $40. Seems underhand to me. Dick Schneiders
