Reconsider, please. Let's try to be as civilized as possible. Certainly we can all have differing opinions. That includes the moderators, who are (after all) only humans like the rest of us. One of the reasons I felt I would be a bad choice for moderator is because I have very polar opinions. That is simply a human trait of some persons. I probably would have caused a mass exodus. Everyone becomes upset at times. People feel strongly about things. But if we work very hard to listen to each other, perhaps we can make real advancement. Humans are above the animals [at times ;-)] because of our ability to reason and to apply our learning to make better decisions (wisdom). A group like the computer chess club is a collective intelligence. If intelligent members leave, we all get a little bit stupider. Now, can a person like me, who gets trounced by programs which are not pansies, afford to get any dumber?
