Franz,

if it would help you: it is not the fault of your tool. But fact is, that on
Shredders side there are *two* FENs for *one* position. Ant thus there could
not be bidirectional converting functions, full stop.

And if you would not like ANCIENT (what am I then?) X-FEN then take another
extended FEN, but COMPATIBLE to traditional chess AND already existing
applications (at least concerning Chess960 starting positions). If SMK would
have accepted some of my proposed compromises, we would neither have acient (but
compatible) X-FEN nor the incompatible Shredder-FEN.
