If you are interested in a snappy GUI or some other features, like those offered by Fritz or Rebel, for example, then maybe the very straightforward Hiarcs 7 environment is not for you. I feel that Hiarcs is the strongest commercial program available (for chess strength). What problems have you had? Regards, Matt
